Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare all ingredients.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub the spices evenly on both sides.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Sear the chicken breasts for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer the seared chicken to a baking tray. Spoon ranch dressing evenly over each piece, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne or red pepper flakes. Serve with steamed vegetables, a fresh salad, or roasted potatoes.
